about my shower

My shower is probably months and months away but I am concerned. I feel like my MOH will get stuck paying for the whole thing, and doing a lot of the work. My mother and I dont have a relationship, so she wont be helping. My nana just passed away, my FMIL probably will not contribute either. Should I tell my FH to offer financial assistance to my MOH, so that she is not burdened? I feel so guilty even thinking of having a shower because I have no family to help my MOH out!

Yikes! First off, you are very sweet to care so much about your maid of honor so much. I don't know if this is the right thing to say or do but I don't think it would hurt if she is bearing all the financial burdan then the offer will be appreciated and if she is not than she will still think that he is being very generous!

Would you possibly be able to offer her financial assistance with it? I mean I know it is YOUR bridal shower...but she may turn you down anyways because of this.

I am in the same boat, only have my matron of honor as my whole bridal party and I feel like she is going to be stuck paying for the whole thing because there is no one else to help her out. My fiance and I have offerred numerous times to help pay for it even though mine too, is a few months away. I know she wont take the money but she'll get it back somehow
