Cassidy is now 2 1/2 months old. She pretty much sleeps through the night but she seems to nap alot. Basically, after she's awake for 2 or 2 1/2 hours, she's ready for a nap. Is that normal?

That sound pretty normal to me. And you are one lucky lady to have your 2 1/2 month old sleeping though the night. What is your secret?????

Nick is 6 months old and he still can only go about 3 hours of awake time before he needs to nap! This and he sleeps like 11 hours at night! He is one tired little dude.

Ryan is just over 4 months and he usually naps after being awake for about 2-3 hours too. I can see though that every day he is up just a little bit longer.

Sounds normal. MY guy is 10 months old already and he naps after being up about 2-3 hours in the morning and takes an afternoon nap after being up about 3 hours.

Depending on weight it is usually normal.... Alex was a big baby and he was sleeping though the night fairly quickly... (congrats BTW).... He was also napping a lot throu the day... Take it while you can!!!

Oh believe me, I'm NOT complaining I just didn't remember Scotty sleeping so much during the day, but I'm glad to hear it's normal.
As for the sleeping through the night, she usually sleeps from 11-7, and I truly believe I have the Miracle Blanket to thank! I wish they made them even bigger...I'd keep her wrapped up until she was 10

You're lucky! My sister's baby (and I'm SURE this is NOT normal.) rarely sleeps. If he does sleep, he sleeps for an hour tops. He's a very spoiled baby though and they NEVER put him down, which I think is a huge part of it.

Re: ?? about napping
my son will be 3 months next week....he naps pretty much the same way- after he's up for 2 -2 1/2 hours he starts gettting cranky and is ready for a nap...he'll nap anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours....
