Re: About the flower girls... And having a new board
Thank you to all for your understanding. I was just doing what I always do. Try to enhance the site to make it better for all. I'm going to leave this now, go home and try to enjoy some of my anniversary!

Re: About the flower girls... And having a new board
I think this website will need to ask for ages and if under 18 your restricted or like aol have something for the parents to click to say under 18 readers- something like that b/c my computer is always logged onto this site and if anyone elses is too no matter if its the sister aunt or child they can still see these r rated boards.

Lets drop the flower girls and all the other crap.Ron and Liz created this board so we could chat freely about things some may feel are offensive. Ron and Liz own this board and it is a business lets respect that.

DMAG - thank you!
Absolutely! Not everyone realizes that what you offer (this forum) could also become a liability. My hat's off to you!

You are correct and if you read Ron and Liz's other post they are working on that. They are going to make this forum password protected. You will need to be logged in to view it.

Right I read that but if the sister aunt or whoever is logged on- Im always logged on- the kids can still see the topics - all of them so we need a parental control i think that would be the safest thing. I have a question I never did the album but do you have to be logged on to view it?

Alas... but that removes the responsibility of the site. It then becomes YOUR responsibility to LOG-OFF when you leave the PC.
You should never leave a PC logged in to any site because its very insecure in case your computer ever gets compromised.

I know what you are talking about. But even if you check that button... clicking LOG-OFF when you leave the computer removes the cookie on your computer.
Then you can leave your PC and that person will not be able to access Off-Topic.
If you try to post something... it will ask for your password again.

right that has happened to me. but I have to be honest i dont log off does anyone else on here always log off when you leave the site? but anyhow I see what you mean it takes the responsibilty off ron and liz but I can still see a mom complaining about some of the posts on here even if it is their responsibilty. ya know what I mean.

They can complain... but they don't have a case. They will look like an idiot when they are told 'why didn't you log off?'.
Its done to protect the site. Thats really the only reason.

Wrong where? What I was trying to say was, it is not our place to debate the choices made by the owners of the site. It is an internet forum if anyone disagrees with the way it is run they have every right to leave.
