Where did everyone get their reception accessories from? I'm looking to purchase our toasting flutes, cake server set, etc. Wondering what deals everyone got.

I purchased my cake server at Things Remembered. I like the style so much better and the quality was better than most in the stores. I didn't get it engraved (engraving both pieces would cost more than the set).I looked online and ordered it in store (no shipping and picked-up within a week).

Honestly, I went to Christmas Tree Shop and got Mikasa champagne flutes for $4 each. I'm planning on doing the same thing with the cake server. For things that will probably end up either getting lost (in the shuffle), or end up in my parents' trunk until who knows when I pick them up, it's not worth it to me to spend so much $ on them. But if you're more responsible than I am (which most people are LOL), you can register for them.

We aren't having a bridal shower or anything since all of my family besides my parents are out of state so we are going to buy everything. I also don't want to spend alot on this either so I may try your idea out.

This is a good idea! I didn't register for any.Does anyone know if the hall provides a cake server if you don't bring one and don't care if it's a special one? I imagine they must have one...

Mine doesn't that I know of. I went to Michaels today and bought our ceremony sand vases. The kit was 50 so instead they had one large vase and small ones that match the same design, used 40 percent coupons so it came to $6 total, the sand I think was $3 each and we have coupons fir that too for when we go back so total it may only cost 10 as opposed to 50! :)

I can't imagine the venue wouldn't have a cake server. Most restaurants/catering halls at the very least have a knife and a spatula, which is really all you need if you don't care what it looks like.
