According to your FH...

what is your most annoying habit?

FH would say mine is that I constantly clean up. He'll take off his sneakers and BAM!....they're put away in the closet. He hates it!

Oh man. Mine would say that I harp on things - like if I want him to save more money, I'll ask him about it wayyyyy too many times. I do this, though, because he never gives me a response on the things I want him to do!!!! (Or, I should say, the response *I want to hear.*)

Re: According to your FH...

I think FH would say my most annoying habit it my need for urgency. For example, If I ask FH to do the dishes....I'm asking him to do them now, not a half hour from now. If I see that he isn't getting of the couch, I'll just do them myself and then give the silent treatment. He gets really annoyed at that!!!

I talk over him sometimes! I can't help it though...my dad has ALWAYS done it to me...he has a really hard time listening to anyone but himself haha. So now I always feel like if I have something to say then I need to spit it out or I won't get a chance!

Re: According to your FH...

when asked at pre-cana, i couldn't believe his answer...i know it annoys him but didn't think it'd be most annoying. He said when i blow dry my hair in my bathroom(which is in my bedroom) with the door open while hes trying to watch tv.

But the most annoying to him i think is that i am not as neat as him...not that i am a slob but i am not OCD like him and dont go overboard. The second we get to my house he has to go make the bed, even if i say just let me change first and i'll do it but he has to do it right then and there. Even when i change i throw things on my dresser or on my chair and he'll tell me to just put it on a hanger or in a dresser.

I just asked FH what he thinks mine are..and I was kinda hoping that he was going to say 'oh nothing you do bothers me' lol well i was WRONG he said and I quote'You're constant negativity towards everything and the fact you are emotionless' hahahha but then he also added 'but thats def. gotten better since we got engaged'

hes right about the emotionless part. LIke i never act or seem excited (even when I really am) I'm just not the type to jump up and down and scream when something good happens. But apparently he thinks its getting better lol

THE LAST part is EXACTLY how my mom is and my dad always used to say things to her about it. I told him to get over it, its her personality and if you know her well then you'll know when shes excited and happy by other things she says or does. He just always expected a HUGE reaction from her. BUT at the same time i cant talk bc i do that in alot of situations too, i cant always jump up and down all excited so sometimes people get the wrong idea.

Its the same with us..FH will do something nice for me and I'll say thank you or whatever and then he'll ask me over and over again 'so do you like it?' what do you think? and its like ask me one more time i'm going to punch you! lol hes like well you dont give much feedback and you always have the same look so its kinda hard to tell if you are happy..
The only emotion he can tell that I have is when i'm sad. Cause i wont think twice about crying hysterically in front of anyone lol but generally i'm happy, i just dont show it well

FH hates that i'm so messy, but i am! i always have been, and have gotten a lot better, but if i don't pick up after myself immediately after i'm done with something, he gets on my case!

Re: According to your FH...

i think that him always cleaning up after we eat dinner annoys him - he jokes that i cant bring my dish to the sink but 80% of the time im the one cooking, and i clean the rest of the house....its his fault for spoiling me though - he knows that if he left everything i would clean it all up - so i think even though he makes jokes about it being annoying i think he does it to be sweet.....

but i do know that when i pay more attention to our dog he gets annoyed

see but that can be our complaint about them. I understand people like things a certain way but at the same time they(as in our fh's) need to understand that we also have a certain way to do things. For example, the moment i walk into my house the first thing i dont want to do is my bed. First of all the moment i walk in i always have to take off my shoes and change ASAP, i cant clean or do anything if i am still dressed so thats something he has to learn. Does it matter if the bed is made now or 10-15 mins after lol...I commute from jersey and sometimes takes me 2 hours to get home, and then other times it will take less but ill go to fh's house first to meet up then we'll run a few errands and go to my house after so yeah ill be a bit tired and sorry i dont rush into the house to make the bed.

but hes used to it and now just does it himself...sometimes ill stop him and say its ok i'll do it but he says he doesnt mind so its ok.

that's so funny, i'm always telling FH that i have my way of doing thing, and you have your way. but of course, he thinks his way is the right way, and i have to tell him, there is no right or wrong way, we're just two different people who like to do things differently.

when i come home, his biggest thing is the mail. when i come home, i like to change and get comfortable first, then look at the mail. by the time i make it to the bedroom, he's like, what about this mail, can i throw it way??? HELLO! i didn't even look at it yet. let me change first, then i'll throw away what needs to be thrown away, and take care of the rest. on the rare days i come home before him, i do the same thing to him, and he hates it, but he still hasn't changed.

I burp really loud around the house without realizing! And I chew on my lips loudly and it annoys him.
