I am having a fairly large wedding (about 240 guests). So I started to print out the addresses on my outer evelopes. I thought that I was doing them properly (ex: writing out Street, and, etc.) but I didn't spell out the STATE!
I know it's not a HUGE deal, but it bothers me that I did that! I don't know if I'll have enough envelopes to re-do them, so I am going to leave them as is and then just spell out the state on the rest of them that I do.
Is this OK? I mean I know no one will see anyone else's envelope, but I can't help but feel sort of stupid that I did that and I don't want anyone to think I am being unclassy or whatever.
Anyway, what do you girls think? I think I just need some piece of mind!
Thank!!

Re: Addressing the invites!
It's not a big deal! If you forgot Mr. or Mrs., then that would be a problem. Just print out the rest with the state written out. You are fine and nobody will say anything. If you are REALLY uncomfortable about it, you know who is going to complain on your guest list...fix those guests' invites, lol. The ones that you know won't even notice, just leave as is.

Re: Addressing the invites!
Honestly, I wouldn't worry about this. We put all this effort into etiquette, calligraphy, etc...and none of the guests pay attention, notice, or care. Invites are such an unnecessary cause of stress!

Re: Addressing the invites!
i think ti's fine. people spell out the state for formal invites, but other than that, it's always just the abbreviation. i think it's fine. but for the ones you haven't done, i would write it out.

I don't think anyone will notice... the envelope goes right in the garbage. Don't stress.
