Ok - I was REALLY wanting to post someting nice in favor of Adrienne's seeing that they get such a bad rap here, BUT I am sad to say, I cannot. I am so upset at their 'who gives a crap' attitude about brides that I don't even know what to do but come to all of you and vent!

I desperately needed to compare two dresses - both by Maggie Sottero - and I finally called them as my list of dealers was getting narrower by the minute. So after being told to call back FOUR times - each time I got a different person who had no idea where to find my previous conversations with the other women that work there - they had no notes on my questions or anything - they tell me 'SURE - we will order the two samples of the gowns for you - just promise to come in and try them on.' So of course, I am thrilled and make a hearty promise.

I get a 'hunch' and call back just to check that the dresses are in transit and the women hesitates and says, 'Yes, they were shipped out today and will be here this weekend. Just call on Friday to make sure they are here.' I thought it was weird, but figured they were just trying to save me time if the dress was not there due to the postal service.

Needless to say, they called me THURSDAY night at home - even though they had my work number - and left a MESSAGE on my machine saying that the manufacturer would not ship them the samples unless I bought them, so they would not have the dresses.

Uh HELLO MCFLY? They told me that they had been shipped already.

I was so annoyed I cancelled my appt. and ran around like a lunatic on Friday until I found a dealer who had both gowns.

I am venting, but if that is how they handle prospective customers, I can only imagine how they treat their brides.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Just one more strike for adriennes!
Willow, I know you and I have talked about this before.... but, take the pictures to Angel bridals, they can make a copy of the dress you love. Have you been to see them yet???
I told a friend of a friend about them and the dress she wanted was $4000, they had a copy of her dress for only $1400! Check them out!!

Be glad you got the treatment you did over the phone! Then there was no chance to do business with them! Imagine the problems you are saved from!! It's a blessing!!
