Adrienne's Bridal Shop in Islip...any luck???

Adrienne's is where my dress was ordered from and my 2 sister's as well. She has a great reputation. I had a little problem with my gown recently, but it's straitened out now. It was a problem with the ordering of my gown. She has seamstresses their for years that are wonderful ladies. I will tell you this though. If you didn't buy your dress from her, she won't touch an outside gown because she doesn't know where it came from. My younger sister bought her dress for my wedding at Macy's and Adrienne's won't alter it. Beautiful shop though and like I said great seamstresses. My sister just had hers done their 3 weeks ago for my wedding.

Adrienne's Bridal Shop in Islip...any luck???

Kate, does this shop carry a large selection of dresses? I live in Queens but can't seem to find anything I love - so I plan on venturing out to the Island next week. Is it worth the trip? Thanks, Nicole (ps thanks for the favor idea - I'll check out that place in Patchogue soon)

Adrienne's Bridal Shop in Islip...any luck???

if you are coming out to islip for dresses and patchogue for favors, i got my dress at Bridal Suites in Patchogue. i really liked them and also ordered the bridemaids dresses there too. the woman who helped us (marie) was so nice and it was great to be able to get all the dresses at one place. if you want more info (you have to make an appointment), email me and i'll give you the phone number. just a thought since you are coming out here anyway! good luck! -leighann

Adrienne's Bridal Shop in Islip...any luck???

Yes, they have a lot. It's a beautiful shop. All her dresses are facing forward insteady of slotted in next to eachother. I loved that about her shop. You can see every dress fully at a glance. She has them sectioned out like most. Short sleeve, A-Line, Long Sleeve, Strap, etc. Definitely stop in. I would call first too. It gets very busy on the weekends. Good Luck

I had a client of mine from work, look at my webpage and she sent me a gift, a spice rack, and she said, "did you like it I hope it was the right one from your registry". I thought to myself I know I didn't register for one, and found this out.

If people are looking at your webpagemake sure it's up to date.

Centereach Bridal Shop

Centereach Bridal is a great store too. They are a little bigger as well. Leighann - make sure that if you have any accessories - scarves, jackets that you get in on the contract. My sister is in a wedding in July. They all bought their dresses there (9 girls), a mother's dress and MIL dress. They spent over $3,000.00 their and when they tried on the dresses, they asked if the scarf came with it; they said yes, now the dresses are here, the scarves are not and the owner said you have to order them seperately for $55.00 a piece. The girls are not too upset, but the bride is extremely upset because it's more money now and it was supposed to be included. She asked that because they have spent so much money at their store, could they honor their first comitment and he said no because it cuts into his profit! Just make sure everything is included on your contract... in any store; this could happen anywhere. Good Luck

Another in Patchogue

Another in Patchogue is Paradise Bridals right down the block from the Bridal Suite. I didn't buy my dress there, but I thought the women there were very helpful and they had a good selection.

Another in Patchogue

i actually didn't go to paradise bridal. i had called there the day before my appointment at bridal suites and the woman said they were going to be busy that day but if i wanted to come in late, someone could probably help me.. so they didn't give me an official appointment. once we found THE dress and the bridemaids dresses at bridal suites, we didn't end up going down the street to paradise...we were planning on doing some comparison shopping there, but after all that time in bridal suites and finding EXACTLY what we were looking for at the EXACT prices we wanted to spend, comparison shopping flew out the window! so i can't compare the selections, but bridal suites had a pretty good selection and there pricers were better than we saw at macy's bridal! one of the main designers they carry is beloise from jasmine. you could check out the web site before deciding whether to go to see if they have the color yellow you are looking for. the web site has swatch colors. here is the web site:

That's a great point Concetta. Adrienne's does carry a bigger size line to try on. 10/12/14/16 instead of the 6's and 8's. That was definetely a plus.

Good Luck

Thanks, Leighann! I'm going to check them out.
