Adrienne`s in Islip

A friend of my mom`s went there for a dress for her daughter`s wedding and is having it custom made. They were very nice but not prepared at all for her first fitting which left her wondering. They were apologetic but evasive...she`s recsheduled but now nervous. Any feedback from anyone? good or bad?

I bought my dress there in July 01 and they told me it would be in by January. It's almost March and it hasn't come in yet. I'll post when I go in for my first fitting. I'm getting nervous now.

susieq- i`d call once a week to see if it`s in yet and ask to speak to the manager, not the sales help as they seem to not have a clue about anything. Stay on them.

Adriennes is horrible

I have two horrible posts about experiences with Adrrienes I posted them last week, search for them. Do not trust them for alterations especially from there bridesmaid cottage...there special custom designed dressed is the only decent one and I only use the word decent to describe her. I thought your wedding already happened! Good luck to you. My friend orders heres in july and we got them in december and I order one in August and got it in Novemeber. What designer did you get??? Laurie
