I just wanted to add that by making these posts I was not trying to bad mouth anyone or stress any other brides out. I was just using this as a forum to vent about a unfortuante sitatuion I had to deal with. I thought that was what this board was for. I actually have not had any major problems with my birdal gown which is also there, again some of the people there have not been the greatest, but whatever. I am not looking for any other drama. I have future in laws for that.

well in the defense of adrienne's ..evrythime i go there i get great service and i have had nothign but good things to say about them the main house gets a little buzy and u have to wait alittle and so does the back h ouse as well and there is never enough girls workign i think they need a break it's not really all their fault.. we brides are alittle crazy at times and get really nervous sometimes for no reason at all. i have to say u get a bad rep from wevery bridal shop you look under, so don't judge a book by it's cover

I agree with that. The girls in the back house are definatley over burdened, but that does nt texcuse rude service from other members of the staff. Brides can get crazy but I have done my absolute best to stay calm the whole time. I am not saying this is going to be everyones experience. I am just saying this was my experience and obviously I was not alone.

This is her experience and i don't think Adriennes need a defender...If they don't have enough people then that IS THEIR FAULT! Hire more people...SHE has every right to be upset and i wouldn't consider this to be a a small issue ...THEY LOST HER DRESSES! HELLLLLLOOOOOO!

are you kidding me?! i was going to go to adrienne's with my mom to look at MOB dresses, but i am seriously reconsidering. not b/c of daisybride's experience but b/c of these 'brides' who think they can come on here and we wont know who they are. give me a break already!

just to let you know i work at adreinne's bridal, my name is sofiai'm one of the assistant managers and we have a private line called the 2b collection and if you look it up on line in Ny we and kleinfelds are the only retailers alowed to have them.. so there is nothing fishy about that

The dye lots do vary and and the reason your dresses got shipped at different times was because they were different styles. I understand this is a stressful time for you, and I hope everything is working out now. As for the comment Kathy1116 posted there is no way that anyone in the Maids cottage told you that if there was a stain in the back that no one would see it, if so I would like to know a name because its not good to lie about things and trash a store that has more good things coming out then bad, and people with nothing better to do come online to write about things that aren't important, i think some of you forgot the true meaning of a wedding!!!

Why don't you tell us? Did you save face and solve the problem or do we all now know that not only are you COMPLETELY unprofessional and horrible at your business you're such a waste of time and effort that you had to try to save face by coming on here and tossing remarks like this?

THE BIG DAY.. did you miss that?

Once or twice is easy to forgive but hiding, not calling, acting like they know nothing.. that makes it annoying in ANY circumstance. Do you know the True meaning of professionalism? From Websters: 1. the conduct, aims, or qualities that characterize or mark a profession or a professional person.

In which case Adrienne's has show a total lack of professionalism.

So before you go off calling other folks a 'liar' you'd better be able to prove you were a fly on the wall when it happened otherwise you're just wasting space.

I loved that you gave them the definition from the Websters' Dictionary....maybe it will help them...for the future.....many vendors are just out to get $$$ and forget that customer service is the most important and PROFESSIONALISM is what bring back new customers after references are given out......

Okay, so is anyone else thinking that the reason the girls in the back are so over worked is because their managers are too busy posting as fake brides on LIWeddings? Daisygirl, that's why the owner must have run off--she had a new FM !

I have to , but honestly, it just pisses me off so much. I wish we could take out an ad in the paper and show these people for their shady practices! Does anyone have a lost somewhere compiled of all the s and what company they were from? I'd SO love to see it. Right now I don't trust anyone under 200 posts. *sigh*

Best of luck though, really..maybe all of this outrage will make them wise up and finally get it right.

I just want to clarify that I do not work there, I was a customer there and i had a similar problem with my dress being 'misplaced' i gave them time and they pulled through, i had a wonderful experience in the maids cottage and with the sales people in the big house. I was just saying that there is good in this place too, i was a BM in my sisters wedding a year ago and everything went smoothly, just keep on speaking to the same person when you call and you will get things accomplished.

OMG!!! I am so sorry for all you have had to go through. I think you handled the situation very well and very calmly.

I have to say this is the best thread I have read on here! I cannot believe what some vendors do. Sounds like they have a lot more they should be worrying about then coming here and pretending to be brides. That says a lot more about their business then anything else. As we know mistakes happen and things get lost - we are only human. But how they dealt with the situation makes them totally unprofessional. I would warn all brides - STAY AWAY!!!
