Only the kids that are in the wedding I have family member who thinks it's cute when there children are out of control not may day I don't think so

Definately NO KIDS!!
I had 'Adult Reception' written on my invite and everyone was totally fine and understanding of it. Besides, have the kids would take away from the parents enjoyment of the affair.
A wedding reception is just not for kids and no parent should be offended. If they are, then tough. If they 'can't make it' because of babysitting issues, then oh well.

I only had my 3 cousins. (2 yr old boy = ringbearer 5 yr old flowergirl and a 7 yr old jr bm)
I bought them huge baskets of stuff (coloring books, crayons, yo-yos, etc) and they sat at the table for a huge portion bc they were entertained. The 2 girls danced a little on the dance floor but they are really well behaved and never caused any issues.
Other than that 100% no kids under 15.

I agree 100%!!!! The kids in our wedding party are going home(or to our house actually since they live in Vegas but they're his nieces and nephew) after the introduction. Both of our mothers agree. A wedding i think is no place for children.

I agree!! We are only having immediate family kids there!! I hope that it doesn't mean that some people wont come...

They children I am allowing at my wedding are the FG and RB the FG is my 1 yr old( will be almost 2)daughter and the RB is her 5yr old cousin and his mother doesn;t even want to bring him to the reception so he is getting picked up after pictures.

I think kids at a wedding can be fun but it depends on your relationship w them and the type of wedding you're having.
MY cousin had an outdoor wedding on shelter island years ago...that was a perfect type of wedding for kids.
