Adults only?

Hi girls,
I ordered my invites today and I still have time to fix this but did any of you print adults only (or something to that effect) on RSVP or reception cards or anywhere at all?
TIA

no, we're not doing that, but we have our cards something similar to

___ seats have been reserved in your honour...

We will fill in accordingly

Re: Adults only?

I probably wont put adults only but will specifically address the people I am inviting. For example for couples I will put both names on the invite and will put 2 seats reserved. Also for friends who are in seriuos relationships I will put their boyfriend's name on the invite.

I pretty much already told people no kids unless in the wedding party. So I would hope no one brings their kids. I have had good friends ask me if they can bring their baby and I have told them no. I will not make any exception.

The way I look at it when you go to work you get a baby sitter so it would be the same for my wedding and if you cant find a baby sitter then stay home. I do not want any crying babies or little kids running around.

But I dont see anything wrong with putting ADULTS ONLY,

we didn't do Adults Only but on the RSVP Card we wrote

We have reserved ______ seats in your honour.

and then we plan on filling in the number before sending out so people know that the invite is for them only and not their kids.

We haven't written _ seats are reserved in your honor, but I'm starting to think that is a good idea!

Only FH's friends have kids, and they are all under the age of 2. One already told me that her mom offered to babysit for the weekend- so I think they know NO KIDS!

We printed 'Adult Reception Only' on the reception card.

I'm doing 'Adult reception to follow' because some people are single with kid/kids. I just don't want them assuming they can bring the kids.

l think most people put adult reception to follow people should get the hint between that an how many seats are reserved

I'm putting 'Adult Affair'
And in the RSVP part I'm already putting how many seats are reserved for them.

Exactly. My co-worker had 30 extra people because of assumptions. I wouldnt leave any room open for assumptions if you cant afford it

Re: Adults only?

I am not putting anything on the invite or the rsvp cards but what I am doing is writing our my inner envelopes with the first names of all who are invited. Obviously the childrens name will not be on there so they 'should' get the hint!
