sorry guys! Don't mean to put anyone down ,ofcourse, im just saying that it's not necessarily 'my preference', nothing personal to anyone out there getting married anywhere really.. just needed input on the city

Then PLEASE Just go to the NYC version of this site!

There is no difference between the two other than the web address...

Actually, the vendor lists are different. some advertise on all, some only on NYC, and only on LIW ...

I did not know that the boards were the same.....

Thanks for the info! :)

Yupp, the boards are the same. LIWeddings.com is blocked at work for me, but nycityweddings.com is not. Go figure!

Girls get over it! Comments like that only hit a nerve when you think is true. I associated the comment to a lack of knowledge about LI halls and nothing else. I love my venue and its in LI, so it didn't bother me at all.

A plain loft in Manhattan might be a better deal than an actual 'catering hall,' I recommend you also use alternatives. Good Luck!

my imput on places in the city is you get high prices for very little food and not fabulous ambience.... jmo..

OMG - well mine is a more of a 1920s feel and it's out in LI! I think the places out in long island are much more prettier and well worth it! I mean there are some 'Wedding Factory' 1980's decor - not my kind of thing but if you're into it - than my opinion doesn't matter...In the end is what's what you want.
