Advice on an e-party
I really didnt think about one until I heard every one talking about it. Who throws it and who do you invite. Do you have to have one? It sounds like fun to me. How long before you get married to you have one and is it to late for me?
I want a party.....

Re: Advice on an e-party
I had one last August & I'm getting married in September. My party was at my mom's house in the backyard and alot of people brought things. We had a country western theme and had a big BBQ.It was alot of fun. I invited immediate family & some good friends

Re: Advice on an e-party
Mine is in 3 months. It depends why you want to do it. Alot of people say its another way of getting more gifts.. but my primary reason is for the families to meet.We are not getting married till 3/04.
If you need any help let me know. I was going nuts over this party and now I am getting nervous its soo close...

Re: Advice on an e-party
We had our engagement party 6-1-02. Our wedding isn't until 10-4-03. We threw the party ourselves. We invited all our close friends and all family. We had so much fun!

Our e-party is in 3 weeks
We are having it at Chateau Briand. In my culture, it is tradition to have an e-party. You can make it as formal or informal as you want....its up to you, but from what I have read, the family or friends may throw you one.

Re: Advice on an e-party
The nice thing about the E-Party is you can do anything and everything you want.. My FIL's had one for us in the backyard with plenty of food (my aunt made), lots of alcohol, yummy jello shots.. We had everything pink, a beautiful cake, gorgeous favors, and plenty of fun and games.. It all depends what type of atmosphere you are looking for. We were looking to get families to meet, bridal party to hang out together, and lots of fun~ thats exactly what we did.Welcome New Vendors
