as some of you may know, ive been TOTALLY stressed and freaking out and moody etc for a while lately. there is this trip ive gone on before with some friends coming up and I want to go. i KNOW it would be a greta uplifter and what i need. problem is it will cost me approx $500
wedding is over (for being over, not sad for being married) but we are saving for a house/......

I would go- you have been so stressed lately- you need to get away. Think about it this way if you spent $500 how far back will it put you in buying your house, not that much. Go for it!

ITA. Talk it over with FH... make sure he understands, don't want to cause fights, but you need to look out for yourself and your emotional well being too. If you think this trip can help snap you out of your funk, then it's totally worth the $500. I'm sure FH wants you to feel better. Good luck!

I say go, it's only $500 and in the scheme of things that isn't going to make or break whether or not you can buy a house.
