i think that situations change, and if this person knows that there is something going on, then odds are they prob are figuring they wont be invited. i know 'etiquitte' (see, i cant even spell it, lol) says you would still send them an invite, but i wont invite anyone who i dont want.
This, especially if the person knows why they didn't get the invite

if you guys are having issues, I dont think you need to send them an invite. You don't want drama on your day!

Re: advice please....
I sent a save the date to a friend who I was close with...then she go reaquianted with some other girl friends of hers who are all single (she had a falling out with them previously) and then she didn't keep in touch really..not even throguh fb and we always talked on fb! So I'm most likely not sending her an invite... I know ettiquete says otherwise but whatever!

Re: advice please....
So here's my take. If you don't send her an invite she's prob gonna b*tch about it to her friends, which I'm assuming are your friends. But based on her past behavior, she probably won't speak to either of you about it. So, her feelings will be hurt, but do you care? And if she b*tches to all her friends, will they not come to the wedding because they are taking her side? Will it turn into an all out war? Or will she go quietly into the night? If it's something worth saving, you might want to talk to her about her behavior and how it's upset you. Maybe she'll shape up in time for the invites to go out.

It's one thing if you sent STD's to a bunch of people and then decided you couldn't afford all of them or kinda lost touch for a few months - then it's rude if you take back the invite since people may have saved the date.
But in circumstances where there is a falling out, a fight, bad blood etc I don't think the person should get an invite or is expecting one. That is my opinion.
for example, If a friend turned out to be a huge slutty b iatch and showed her na na to FH - would you send her an invite to observe ettiquette?? helll noooo!

If you don't want them there, then don't send an invite. I have about 4 people whom I sent a STD to, but they were the BM's wifes' family, that we have gotten to know. Well now BM and wife are splitsville so even tho we sent STD to her fam, we will not be sending invites.
