Affordable Venues

Original post by rozenextdoor

Hi Everyone!

Me and FH have a really tiny budget and really big families.

We are super flexible on our date though.

Can anyone think of super affordable venues/vendors?

We're open to all-inclusive.

We're also open to 'alternative' receptions:

Dessert
Brunch
Cocktail

We have OOT so I'm trying to stay away from Dessert Only.

Thanks so so much!

I think brunch is fine, but I don't think I'd do a dessert or cocktial only reception. You have to give people a meal IMO

- Leonard's of Great Neck
- Greentree Country Club (very pretty)
- Stewart Manor Country Club and Sans Souci of Sea Cliff both have Winter Wonderland packages that start at $50.00 pp. They include pretty much everything. Believe it is for months Dec - March.
- If you like rustic, you can rent the barn at the Queens County Farm Museum. It is inexpensive and quite nice.
- Fox Hollow or Westbury Manor
- If you can travel to NJ, there is Perona Farms, I believe they have a brunch wedding that is very affordable.
- Verdi's of Westbury

Brentwood Country Club is all inclusive and uses pretty nice vendors. I believe Mediterranean Manor is also but we didn't visit there so I don't know much about it. Timber Point CC and West Sayville CC have very affordable prices as well!! HTH!

This. I'd try all these places, and Smithtown Landing CC

During the winter months, flowerfield offers $110 flat rate. It includes centerpieces, cake upgrade, $2,000 credit towards a photographer. May also include a dj but not sure about that one.

I've heard Swan Club, Thatched Cottage, and Fox Hollow offer pretty good pricing. Also, of all the places we visited Chateau la Mer gave us the best pricing/most food.

I agree w/ the others, also, that doing an off-season wedding saves A LOT of money; or even doing one soon since the hall basically needs to fill that day anyway and most ppl don't book on short notice!

HTH and good luck!
