After all my whining, I finally booked my wedding!!

Well, we went tonight and I brought my parents and FH brought his mom and although it was slightly chaotic since the two mothers who said they weren't going to say a word were talking the entire time, I booked my wedding!! Thanks to all the research I did and all the info I got from you wonderful women, everyone was very impressed with how thorough I was and the banquet manager was very patient with me and my two pages of single-spaced notes that I went through.

FH and I will be getting married on October 10, 2004 at the Woodbury Country Club. Now poor FH can catch a break since I won't be hounding him to just book a f*cking place already. The rest of it, well, I'll give him a week's peace before I start bugging him about it.

Thanks for all of you who put up with my incessant whining about this. I promise I'll try not to be such a brat about everything else.

OK, so did anyone else not sleep the night they booked their wedding?? My warped little brain always leaves the 'what-ifs' and doubts until I'm trying to sleep and then unleashes them all on me at once. Bleh.

But I am still excited. Too tired to be jumping up and down, but I'm thinking about it. Really!

My hall is visiable from the LIRR. I pass it everyday. I usually read or do a puzzle on the train, but these days Im always awake and looking at the window to see the hall.

One more year of this werid woman on the train staring out the train window...

I am getting married there on Oct 3, 2004! We just fell in love with the place when we saw it. Who did you work with? We worked with Chad and thought he was great! I did not expeerience any pushyness at all there. It was a great experience. I have the downstairs room as well with the outside ceremony and cocktail hour. I want to do a food tasting also but feel funny calling to do it. FMIL is dying to see the place so maybe I will call to do it with her.

Sandj, I originally met with Vinny (who is apparently my BM), but we signed with Michael the other night and I'm thinking of finding out whether he can be our BM because we were there discussing things for well over an hour and I am afraid that I'm going to have to go back and forth between the two with, 'Michael said this was OK...Vinny said I can't do this,' etc. Oy!
