My FH was in a wedding last year and we used them. The tux was OK - but they fit him all wrong

I haven't heard too many good things about this chain. We were going to go with them also. BUt when we went in to get some help we waited 45 mins ..there was one KID working there and there were 5 other couples waiting to be helped. and the KID never even acknowledged anyone was there other then the 1 guy he was helping.. Not even a 'I will be with you after this customer'.

We were very turned off and went to Tuxedo Trends in Lindenhurst. Bob the owner was GREAT!!!

Would NOT recommend them.

My best friend got married and ordered her tuxes from there, since most GM were from out of state. The day before her wedding, which was July 4th, one of her GM dropped out and she had already picked up and paid for this guy's tux. One of our friends graciously offered to step in as a replacement, and we called the store to get a different jacket and shirt (pants fit ok, jacket and shirt were WAY too big). They were open, and we said we're leaving now, can we get a replacement GM fitted for a new tux? NO WAY they said, we want to close early for the holiday. (What would they have stayed for, an hour, tops? We were 15 minutes from the mall) They were so rude, and my friend was in tears. We ended up using rubber bands and safety pins to make the shirt fit, and used a tux jacket her father had. They were so mean - I didn't even consider them for our wedding.

Yeah, I agree with this post. They seem a little to layed back in that store, but I went with them anyway because I have people from out of town so I thought it would be easier if we all stayed with one chain, but who knows. I'll know by next thursday how they did with my orders. Hopefully I won't be posting an angry post on them

do a search on this site, there are a lot of threads (not so good ones) about after hours... we ended up going to men's warehouse...

Thank you everyone!!!! I went to a tux store behind the Bridal suite of centereach which is not affiliated in any way and I was NOT impressed. Does anyone remember the name? If its a chain I want to avoid other stores.

We put a deposit down with them and after reading way too many bad reviews, and hearing alot of other things about them, we decided to go with Men's Warehouse instead

they suck! apparently, they seem to think that a jacket and pants qualify as a whole tuxedo. that is what a friend of mine was given when he was in a wedding. no shirt, shoes, socks or tie. my fh was the bm for the same wedding, and they wouldn't let him try the tux on when he picked up, and he looked like a monkey the arms were so long on him!!!
go to tuxedo park in carle place...they rock!!
