i want to have it cleaned, but to have it preserved, I'm so scared, I remember hearing all those stories of years later, the dress wasn't ever in the box

mine is still in my room with the slip in it - the way i brought it home from the hotel lol my mom is having it preserved for me after the holidays - im pretty sure lilettes (where i got my dress) does it

No worries about this nowadays...most places preserve the dress in a box that has a window, so you can see your dress thru it!

I took my dress to local Dry Cleaners and they charged me $150.

I took mine to the dry cleaners before our HM because I didn't want the dirt sitting for weeks..They charged me 180

it's 8 months later and my dress is hanging on the outside of DH's Closet!!! I plan on bringing it to my mother's one of these days!!!
