After the wedding & honeymoon

is anyone trying to or will be relocating to another state? For our honeymoon we are heading to Tampa for jobs and apartment. My husband can't wait to get out NY, he often says that if it were not for the wedding we would have left months ago!!

Nicky - yes!!!! We actually live in Boston and are in the process of job hunting right now - but we might actually be coming to LI. It's only because hubby really wants to move back near his family & friends - if it were not for that we would not come near the place because of the cost of living and some quality of life issues - like traffic! Because of the cost we are also considering Arizona because my family lives there and it's much cheaper. What we know for sure is that we want to be near family - it's just a matter of finding jobs that will allow us to buy a home and not feel like we have to get second jobs just to pay for it.

We already moved out of state about 2 years ago. We live in Raleigh, North Carolina. We couldn't wait to get out of NY. The only thing that we miss is the food. Other than that, I don't miss anything. Well, maybe friends and family, but you have to do what's good for yourselves. Good luck!

We are waiting for all of the useless options to finally be his. Which will be a year after the wedding. Maybe the market will come back up in that time and we will be millionaires!!! :)

I've been married 1 month and my husband just got sent away on business for the next 2 months. :( We are very much wanting to relocate and find jobs in another state in which is somewhat more affordable. :(
