After yesterday's chat w/ FMIL, FH is still so hurt!

I've posted a bunch of times about the drama going on with where FH & I will be living. FILs are being jerks. FH wanted me, his sister and his mom to sit down and discuss it calmly. FH and his dad are the ones who bring in the tempers.

His parents and sister think FH needs to be there, too. So, around 10am this morning, we're going to FSIL's house to sit down and hash this out

I will know more later today b/c I am hoping that whatever decision gets made today is IT! We cant keep doing this! I'll let you girls know the final outcome!

Wow...I can't believe this is all going on. I still don't truly understand why you guys chose to live there? $1200 isn't cheap and You can definitely find a nice place of your own for around that much. At least then maybe he can start to feel better about the situation. I agree with you that if he can't get over it then you should leave....I mean i guess i understand his parents wanting money if they have to pay for it...and if you didn't live there then someone else would pay to live there...but to demand all these things about the yard and stuff it tough. Most places i have rented from paid for the lawn service....hang in there...but personally I would GET OUT!

I know what you're saying. The apt we saw Saturday morning was amazing but there are little things to consider, too. We have a 70-lb Pit Bull that has to come with us, and frankly, I'm not so comfy if we lived in an apt I'd have to walk him at night b/c FH works nights. So in making this choice we also had to take things like that into consideration. We will see how long it lasts - us staying there I mean.

Thanks, hun! BTW, FH and I started taking private dance lessons! We told the guy about Victor and Caroline's class and showed him a little of the dance, too! He is teaching us a Foxtrot to our song (I think) LOL.
