That was an awesome gift. My husband would have loved that.

I didn't get him something right away because at the time i didn't have any money. But i recently got him one of those professional cameras he always wanted, and his reaction was priceless.

right after we got engaged, his car was broken into and they stole his ipod. So, I got him a new ipod nano and a digital camera- bc he really wanted one.

I wanted to get him a movado..but they were just a bit too much $$

We got so many gifts and cash and everything from everyone else it just seemed silly to get each other a gift too! Especially since we were planning the big honeymoon and everything, it just wasn't in the cards at the time. When we went on the honeymoon we got gifts for each other while shopping around and that was better. This is one of those things you totally don't have to do if you can't or don't want to.

I just (recently) 5 months after the engagement bought him a video game he's been obsessing over. It wasn't for a specific ocasion so I guess it could be an engagement gift- I wouldn't be able to afford anything else!

Besides me, I got FH an Xbox and a few games. I figured it would keep him busy while I looked through tons of wedding magazines.

The Xbox is broken now and I don't mind at all....until it is fixed.

NO, we didn't exchange gifts beacuse a month later was Christmas and 4 months prior was FH 30th bday, which i bought him a movado. We said we weren't going to exchange until our wedding gifts.
