So who has done their Thank You Cards already? HOw long afterwards did you send? Did you do a picture card
I am waiting for my pro pics to come in but it is taking a while & I don't know if I should wait or start with thanks yous now?
What did you write in yours?
As you can tell I was all organized before the wedding but afterwards, I am a mess..lol

WE had them out w/i 2 months of the civil ceremony. I'm hoping for 3 months from the wedding - most out by Dec 30, at least. We're not doing picture ones, though.

Don't worry, you have plenty of time. No need to send them out only weeks after your wedding. People don't expect them that soon. I just picked up our TY cards over the weekend so DH and I need to get crackin! I just want to have them done and out by the end of July.

Etiquette says to have them sent 2 weeks after you return from your honeymoon. Mine went out about 4 weeks after.
I tried to personalize my thank yous as much as possible, but it can be hard. I thanked people for the specific gift they gave us, unless it was money, then I thanked them for 'the generous gift.' I thought saying money or check was a little awkward. I thanked people who traveled for making the trip all the way to NY. For those who didn't travel, I thanked them for coming and I told everyone it was great celebrating with them.
i was going to do accordian cards from kodak but now i think i'm going to make my own thank you cards (that match the DIY stuff i made for the wedding) and just include a pic inside. i don't anticipate getting them out until end of july at the earliest!
I got a sample of them (i paid for it naturally) and i liked them - but i LOVED the Snapfish ones!!
yeah, i ordered one sample too and it was nice but something about it didn't really thrill me :) if the DIY thing doesn't work out then i'll probably use snapfish. i remember seeing yours (i think on the newlywed board?) and they were awesome! i think i'm feeling sad that i have no DIY projects left so i'm making things up by doing my own cards

I totally forgot this when i booked my photog andwas wondering if any photogs do thank yous even if you didn't use them the day of
