Why are people obsessed with age?

I turned 30 today.

I've gotten more 'Are you ok with it?'s' than anything.

I'm GREAT with it. 30 is the fresh new chapter in my life. This past year was tough for me.
I'm embracing the newness 30 brings. I feel great. I'm wearing a pretty dress. Big man is picking me up and we are going to AC.

Life starts at 30.

Why does this milestone still bother people?

I also just turned 30. Im not depressed or anything but I do miss my old college days etc and I know if I ever went back it would never be the same.. so no use in dreaming. Time to think about the future. Watching my boys grow, buying a house etc..
