so fh and I are going to start hunting for a place to live. i would love to get a house but dont know if we can afford the down payment...any advice ladies?

We just keep our eyes open for foreclosures and pray something comes along....And we let our friends and family know that we are looking so they keep their eyes open for us too.

Yeah, the taxes in suffolk are not as bad, but there some areas to stay away from!

FH and I want to buy a coop not a house and in nassau the maintenance in more than the mortgage would be

dont worry we cant afford it either.. u make it happen one way or another.. they are looking to raise it again to a lil over 900... thats when fh punched the wall. and said some thing i cant even type cuz i love liw too much lol

that is what scares me about co-ops they can raise sh*t whenever they want

we are in the same boat...we would love to buy a house but just dont have enough saved for the down payment now...hopefully soon after the wedding we can do it.
