Has anyone ever had a problem with communication or lack of product delivery from Etsy? I put a 50% deposit on my invites from an Etsy vendor and the communication in the beg was great and now I'm getting NOTHING! She won't write me back at all. She gave me one round of proofs that needed a TON of corrections and she has yet to correct them or offer another proof.. I'm really upset about this!!!
******UPDATE: My FH got involved and contacted his lawyer friend to help get my deposit back. He called her left a message and the next day she gave me money back! She just wrote a quick email telling me she was busy and to have a nice day! I wanted to hit her! I gave her a deposit in AUGUST!! Well now i'm on the search again! Thnx

I know lots of people that love ebay, but the only 2 times I used it resulted in negative experiences where I lost money. And I thought I was so careful is reading reviews and researching before choosing a seller. Sometimes you just never know what you're going to get!

I have a few people I'm looking into. I'm very afraid to work with anyone but I think I'm going to stay away from Etsy or a web based shop...I need the personal communication...

Probably better that way because you had a negative experience. There are plenty of invitation people out there! I'm just too busy to make appointments and like to do things on-line. Thankfully, I've had nothing but positive experience using Etsy. Go with your gut!

i bought a few things off of etsy and I loved the work...I do have an alchemy set-up right now for invites (bid price) and I am getting a million responses. I plan to get my card box and candles from etsy
