AHHH... I need a drink - and a tip for a great seating chart tool

My cousin gave me great advice to start working on the seating chart as soon as you have your list and then take people off and rearrange as the responses come in, that way you have the outline and it's less stressful later. Well I have to tell you that I'm glad I'm thinking about this ahead of time because just the preliminary chart has me

BUT I wanted to tell you that WeddingWire has a great tool. You can either type in or import all of your guests and keep track of responses, and then you can use a tool to put in the dimensions of your room, add tables, and drag and drop guests into tables. It's very cool and very easy. So love it

You can also pull reports about who is invited/coming, their gifts, etc. Through that I saw that I'm inviting 40 family members and FH is inviting 74!

Wow that's good to know. I had such a hard time doing the seating for my e-party I don't even wanna think about it for the wedding!!!!

I'm so low-tech I printed out the mailing labels from the LI Wed guest list on plain white paper, cut them up, and arranged them as tables.

just like my online classes I am procrasting and I dont want to think about this yet especially when FH has had 10 people RSVP yes and everyone else is M IA
