They are doing god-knows-what to the roof of my building...for 2 weeks now...it's the 2nd day of classes with non stop students in and out and it sounds like I have 4 bulldozers, 27 men and 2 elephants, and a pink flamingo (for good measure) on my roof...I am going to lose my mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And all my freshman look so homesick, I am going to end up adopting them and that would be VERY bad....

Ugh- We had our roof fixed a few weeks ago so I know what you mean by elephants on the roof. I thought they would come throught my ceiling.
BTW- I bet it was the one pink flamingo making all the noise!
You should adopt all the freshman like little puppies....aawwwww
Here is a solution....Bring in earplugs and go on LIW all day and when you dont hear anyone come in- blame it on the roof people and ignore them!! problem solved!
