update Feb 25: The show aired last night and rocked! It's going to air again on either the 5 or 6 o'clock Fox news broadcast and a shorter version will air again at 10.

Update: Feb 20 We've learned that Frank and Mark have been visiting LIWeddings, so we will have to be careful what we post. Problem Solvers is going to air very, (VERY!) very soon, so be on the look out!
Update: January 27 Fox went upstate and got Marc on tape. They gave him a few days to get us our tapes back. So far, he has not mailed any tapes. We should hear soon as to when the Problem Solvers episode will air.
Original Post: This is very bad news for those of you who haven't gotten your money back or your videos from Marc Campbell of Videomaker.
My hubby had off from work today and went to Marc's house. He wasn't there, but DH spoke to a neighbor who said Marc told her he is MOVING UPSTATE this month. He has a friend helping him with a van, so he is going back and forth. My DH asked the woman to see if she could get Marc's new number for us and to call us if he comes back to the house so we can run over to get our raw footage (though I would like to beat the @!&*! out of him!).
For those of who are owed money, see if you can stop by his house or have someone you know stop by. If you don't get him in person, I don't think you'll get your money.
I think he plans on skipping town and not paying anyone or giving them their videos.
This is tragic for the brides who may never see their vide
If anyone sees or hears from this guy, please post.
Guys-see page 8 for the info on Fox.

Thanks for the info, Kate. The Nassau numbers don't ring a bell, but Marc said he's been doing video for like 15 years and that he had another company before.
We heard from the neighbors that Marc said he was going upstate. He also told us his son's mother lives upstate. Whether any of that is true, who knows, but it is worth investigating further. This could be a possibility.
My DH got home from Marc's a little while ago. He elaborated on what Don, the new owner, told him.
Seems Don is one of these guys who looks for houses that are about to be foreclosed on, buys them, fixes them up, then resells them. Marc's house was about to be foreclosed on. His parents had been paying for it, but couldn't keep up (they're retired, I think). According to Don, Marc hasn't paid his parents the mortgage in like 2 years. The man screwed his own parents! Don said he personally paid for the parents to move because they have no money (they're delcaring Chapter 7, probably so no one will go after them for damages). We're going to see if we can get their address from him when we call later. They may not want to give up where he is, but they need to realize helping their son be a crook is not going to help him or them.

okay this story just SUCKS in EVERY way. I feel for you guys I really do. I am confident all the reaching out to each other will bust this litle prick.
That said - I know nothing about the law, but is it okay to say you think he's on drugs? I guess it is in light of everything, but this jerk is clearly some kind of loose cannon. I would hate for this to end up some kind of slander case on his part that would get him out of trouble. AGAIN I know NOTHING about the law. I just watch a lot of TV!

I have been trying to find a suffolk county real property site similiar to www.mynassauproperty.com in hopes that if you put in the address you can find out the name of the owner - even if its Marc's parents. But not only did I not find anything for Suffolk Cty., but now the Nassau site has done away with names too. (NYC still shows the property owners names and addresses on their site) So maybe if someone knows the number for the tax assessor for Deer Park you can find out the true owner of the house.

We have an attorney working on it. I've called two news agencies and gave them a short recap. They haven't gotten back to me yet. Another bride has spoken to Fox 5 and they said they'd look into it. We are working on police action with the courts.
My husband spoke to the new owner again at about 2 p.m. This time he didn't seem to want to talk, but he did say the Sheriff's office was coming next week to take care of evicting Marc's stuff and for us to call him next week to find out when. He didn't say anything about what was happening with the dog. He also said he locked the door.
We're trying to work with the owner since he said he'll let us in once the dog was gone. He doesn't have an invested interest. This house is a business move and he doesn't want to be in the middle of the situation so we're treading carefully with him.
If any bride can, try to stop by Marc's over the weekend or early next week. If we can get in before Marc comes back or the stuff is dumped, we may be able to salvage some tapes.

Hi everyone....
My name is Kathy and I am the bride that has been speaking to the husband of another couple who was taken by Marc Campbell. I don't have any further information other than what I have read that is posted on this site, but I am going to Marc's house again tonight to see if I might get lucky with something. Not only does Marc have my wedding video, but he has my brother's wedding video and my girlfriend Lissa's wedding video........we are all going nuts. Today I hired a private investigator to track Marc down and as soon as I get any information from us, I will definitely post it here for all those involved. I also got in touch with someone at FOX5 who actually replied to my email.....and I am hoping they will be in touch with me soon.
We have to get this guy and our videos !!!! I will not stop until we get them !!!!
If I find anything of interest tonight, i will post it immediately. The investigator said he should have some information for me by next Tuesday.
Good luck to all who are dealing with this loser !!!
AND i believe i have a picture of Marc, i will look for it and post it.

Hi all,
I posted a picture of the infamous VideoMaker and it keeps taking it down, so i assume we aren't allowed to post pictures. In any event, I have a picture of him if anyone wants it, just let me know and I will email it over to you.
I went to Marc's house tonight to find out the ASPCA did remove the dog at last and of course no one was home. The owner, Don, called me and told me he will call me Monday and let me know if the Sheriff gave him the okay to go in and I can meet with him and go through the tapes.
I also should hear from the private investigator in the beginning of the week.
I will keep posting every time i find out something new....

Keep your fingers crossed that when Monday comes the owner of the house calls Shelley and myself to get our hands on some wedding videos if they are still in the apartment....
