Alice in Wonderland themed wedding... (scroll down - I need help!!!!)

I found these and now I want to have an Alice in Wonderland themed wedding...

I'm not sure my BM dresses go with the theme and I would definitely need to completely redo my invitations (so I guess it is a good thing I don't have a new proof yet!!! LOL)

But can I pull it off without making it look like a circus?

I personally like the topiary over the chairs, but either is very cute. Definitely loving the idea!

My shower is Mad Hatter Tea party themed. I can ask my sis and my mom for some tips on where they got some Alice's themed stuff. My sister made my invites. and my mom got really cute tea cup favors too.

Are their pictures from that floating around on here?

I have pics of her invites, the tea cups I just saw this morning. I know that there are playing card chocolates being made, and some other fun stuff. Let me see if mom can send me some pics...

I think this idea is so awesome - and it sounds like you're doing just the right amount of stuff to make it classy and not over the top.

I would go with the chair placecard holders - makes me think of the tea party. Love it!!

I've been thinking a lot about Alice in Wonderland lately - because I work at MoMA - but also because I was in Paris last week for work and the movie has taken over the department store Printemps. All of the windows are Alice-inspired and the 'La Duree' cafe on the first floor was transformed into a mad hatter tea party. I hate taking pictures, but I just found this link with some pretty inspiring images. Love the Buvez-moi and Mangez-moi tags!!

Great theme idea. My DH is obsessed with the movie since he was 4 years old. My work shower was the same theme and they had playing cards all over the tables and my students made me queen of hearts bo-k with their pics in it. So my DH picked out a mad hatter cake from Audreys. I will post a pic, the colors are unusual because we used blue and orange. But check out the website and the diff color choices they have.
