I am wondering if anyone has seen/heard the band Alive n Kickin and what they thought? I am considering using them for my wedding. Thanks!
OMG!! Alive n Kicken!!! They have been around forever. Now I am 47 years old and I used to see them in clubs in the early 80's. They were good back then. I haven't seen them at a wedding though. Have you checked out the website and the old time pics? That's when I used to see them. I am curious how they are now .
My Dad's band did a gig with them once also I know someone who used them for their daughters wedding. They thought they did a great job for the wedding. When I saw them with my dads band I thought they were kind of cheesy. The girl singer was great but the guy was kind of over the top. Just my opinion
My brother had them for their wedding and I thought they were great. I personally don't like bands because they are limited. just my opinion.
Went to see them at a holiday party on Friday night. The guy was definitely over the top, but the whole party was dancing all night long and that is what we want!
They are pretty good. They played at my cousin's wedding over the summer. Definitely kept the party moving. It depends on what you are looking for in a band. I personally prefer a large horn section that can do the standards as well as the rock and roll contemporary stuff. Alive n Kickin is a smaller band, but they have certainly been around a long time.
I saw them at a bridal showcase a few years ago. When i saw them i was completely skeptical but they totally blew me away! they were awesome!
