All-Inclusive Honeymoon VS. Not an All-Inclusive Honeymoon?

What would be your choice?

I havent started planning my HM yet but I am pretty confident I will go with All Inclusive. Its so nice to go away and have everything paid for - meals, activities, drinks, etc. That can add up to a fortune. I want to go away and have no worries. In my opinion, all inclusive is the way to go

It depends on where you are going, IMO.

I agree. some places don't offer it.

but if you're referring to the Caribbean, I prefer going on vacation that way. DH and I did that for our HM and we're so glad we didn't have to worry about how much money to take with us everywhere (except when we went shopping).

An All Inclusive Sounds good but you also have to see if it is worth it. If you are going out to eat everyday then maybe it is better not to get the all Inclusive. You also have see if the price is right. You don't want to get the All Inclusive for 8 thousand if you are only going to spend 4 thousand without the All Inclusive.

well my hotel doesnt off all inclusive (atlantis in bahamas) but it does offer meal plans, so im gonna go with the cheaper meal plan, this way if i want to eat somewhere else its not a big deal, and their plans dont include drinks anyway so thats also why ill get the cheaper one

I feel stongly about this. However if we go to Hawaii we will have to pay for everything seperately.

Definitely.

We did two trips to Cancun at the same time of year and did the first as all inclusive and the second not as all inclusive (and stayed an extra night). We ended up spending less on the trip that we didn't do all inclusive than we did on the trip we did!

It definitely depends on where you go and what options you have. The all inclusive we stayed in had so/so food and they didn't have much of a beer selection, so on top of spending more based on the all inclusive vs non inclusive plus food, we spent money outside the all inclusive on drinks and food.

i think all inclusives are good for people who like to drink(IMO). Fh and i don't drink we rather have soda w/ dinner than wine we just don't like it..we don't have cocktails by the pool or anything like that either.. so if you do that than it's worth it.. but other wise for fh and i we will do things ala carte
