Christine, speaking of dreams, I've been having some real doozies lately!!! The book says that this month your dreams will be more vivid, and let me tell you, they ain't joking!!! They are so wacky and outrageous, if I told anybody, they would think I'm crazy!!!

As for what I think I'm having, since Joe's father has 4 sons, I was convinced that's what we would have, but that doesn't mean anything. Everyone thinks , but I have no clue, and it's too early now to tell! Not for nothing but I really could care less, as long as or is healthy, it doesn't matter to me!!! Joe really wants a , which I think is cute! When people ask me what I think I'm having I say 'A BABY'!!!

I haven't had any dreams about the sex of the baby yet, I wish I did though so I'd have some sort of sign!

I did have baby dreams before I found out I was pg, just about a week before. That was actually one of my symptoms!

I had a dream of a girl a few weeks before I gave birth. and then about a week before I gave birth, I dreamt of this gorgeous round face little boy, with long eyelashes like his dad..that was my John Anthony !!!!!!

Debbie - my dad was one of four boys. And he wound up with 3 girls! (my mom always said it was payback for all the stress they caused his mom growing up).

Though one of his brothers had 2 boys and the other two had boys and girls...

Lisa, my mother keeps telling me that when someone has all boys, then they'll have girl grandchildren!! I think it's because she was such a 'girl' mother, and wants granddaughters!!! She didn't know what to do with a boy until my nephew was born!!!! We like to bust her chops saying that she's going to have all grandsons!!!!! Meanwhile, her one and only grandchild, is so in love with his 'nanny' that when they're together, the world can crumble around them, as long as he has his 'nanny'!!! I don't know how he's going to react when I have my baby, because he'll have to share his nanny!!! Although it's so cute, he talks to my belly and asks me 'what is she doing in there? can she hear me? I can't hear her'!! And don't you like how he says 'she'?!!!

We shall see!!! My one friend swears up and down I'm having a boy! She even had a dream that I had a boy named Dominic Salvatore!! Those are names I like, but my DH doesn't!!!

We contemplated finding out---should we, shouldn't we---WE DID!!! WE are having a girl (eventhough its not 100% until the baby comes out)---We were so excited just to see the baby in the ultrasound and that the baby is healthy---it really does not matter!

It will be a surprise just to meet our little baby---everything with that day (labor, etc) will be new!!

Re: All our lovely LIW mommies to be

I used to think alot of people found out but now I am finding that alot of couples are waiting for the surprise. Either way it's exciting, it's great that we have the choice. We waited and I'm glad for alot of reasons. LOL I certainly saved money, I'd have been shopping for clothes all thru the pregnancy if I knew. Really it meant alot to DH so I agreed to wait, he wanted to have a big surprise.

I felt in my gut all along that I was having a boy. Of course I didn't know but I never felt 'girl' when I thought about it. I obviously had a boy so Mama's intuition was at work here DH felt that too - he was also convinced it was a boy-it was probably from me saying it. We would have been shocked if it was a girl. I love being Mommy to a boy! But I'd have been thrilled with a girl as well although we never quite agreed on a name. I liked Ryan Christine or Ryan Michelle - talk about unsolicited comments from people! I had one person tell me (in these exact words) 'Ryan? What do you want her to grow up to be a lesbian?' W T F? Some people are just not progressive thinkers I guess. Depending on my hormonal condition on any given day, sometimes people bothered me, sometimes not.

I also want the 14 pound gain secret! I gained about 38 lbs!!

GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE PREGGOS!!
