I don't plan on it, but I am not in the position to find out right now anyway. I doubt that I will. My family and Stef really want me to find out though.

No, obviously I'm dying to know, but DH and decided that it's the biggest surprise in life, aside from his proposal!

To be honest, I'm more curious as to what our baby will look like than what sex it is, since he/she will be bi-racial.

Nope, we have no idea either, wanted the surprise. What surprises me is the number of people who ask--'do you know what you are having?' I get that almost more often than when are you due!

Brian wanted to know really bad in the beginning but then after our close call all we want to know if he/she is healthy, I too can't wait to see, especially what the baby looks like.

Im NOT a mommy yet, but I want the surprise too, but Im so ANAL...that I would NEED to know. But I think it will be a surprise. It makes the pregnancy more fun.

Misha, that's the first question people ask me 'do you know what you're having?' after they find out I'm pregnant. It's really annoying after a while! No one bothers to ask when I'm due!

Not a 'mommy to be' but I've had this discussion before. I would want to know for my first and he doesn't ... so we'll see how that works out!

We didn't find out - and now we are driving ourselves crazy these last few weeks trying to guess! I think it's one of the few big surprises left in life so it's fun to be surprised!! But you guys are right - it seems like EVERYONE asks do you know what you are having before anything else.

Oh - and speaking of lovely comments - not to get off topic here, but I was at a conference the other day for work and some media guy - who I met once for about 15 seconds - comes up to me and says - 'So, are you expecting or uh...' OR UH WHAT??? Am I a gigantic fatso? What the hell is that all about - that helped my mood big time. I mean, not for nothing but I am 5 weeks away and not to pat myself on the back, but I've only gained 14 pounds and its all in my tummy! Word of advice - if you really can't tell someone is pg, don't say ANYTHING!!! Boy, I would have loved to hear him finish that sentence!! Sorry to jump off the topic, but just had to share!!
