All over the US

I know that I am not the only bride planningn a wedding from another state to be held in NY.

Where are all the non-Long Island dwellees from?

BTY...I am in Palm Beach County, FL.

I'm originally from Boston, Ma (1/2 of my guests will be coming from Ma). FH and I are in grad school and live in College Park, MD right now.

I'm not a native LIer. I'm originally from NJ, so I have family coming in from NJ, Florida and Delaware.

FI and I live in CT-not too far, but far enough that I had to go to LI every weekend for the past few months to handle wedding details.

FI and I live in Chicago, but we're thinking about moving to LI sometime in the next 2-3 years. I love Chicago, so I'm torn.

I lived in NY my whole life until I was 28. Then me and FH moved to Charlotte, NC a year and a half ago, we love it here in the south

Check this out- A few months a go I moved to PA to be closer to the man. Well, I still have not gotten a new job so I have been commuting 180 miles round trip to work in Maryland! Pure Insanity!
Although I love seeing my family, the last thing that I am interested in doing is being in the car driving up to Long Island. This commute has taken its toll on my planning.

My fiance and I live in Northern California. He's originally from this area, so most of his friends and family will be traveling to LI for the wedding. It's going to be an expensive trip for them....

Planning, or rather, the lack of, has been pretty tough. I keep having anxiety dreams about not being 'prepared' for my wedding. Thankfully though, I got time off work and will be back in town from 10/12-10/24.

Do you guys think it's possible for me to be able to book my photographer, florist, DJ and officiant all in that 12 day span? Maybe it's wishful thinking, but that's what I'm shooting for!

I feel your pain, I am a New Yorker living in Los Angeles, getting married on LI next June.

I am hoping to take care of photgrapher, limos, makeup/hair person and other randoms when I go back in December.

I'm a native LIer who just moved to New England. I booked most of our major stuff in the two months before I left so it's not so bad. But still, it makes the follow-up appointments hard...
