all this stress- cant stop crying

Ok ladies, sorry I need to vent... bad.
As I mentioned before on the posts... I had two cousins who had the NERVE to cut in front of me and book their wedding before mine... One is exactly a month before my wedding, and the other, 2 weeks before it ***** but what can I do? I cant lose my cool... but I have told whoever possible that my wedding was booked FIRST!

Anyway, I put a deposit down for my shower hall for the first week in Feb and come to find out, my cousin told everyone her shower is the DAYYYYYYYYYY of mine... and of course she already told everyone and finalized it, where I, didnt tell anyone yet except my family, fh, etc.. what luck! ahh

so now I have to have the shower 2-3 weeks after which I dont want to do, but have no choice... there is about 75 percent of the same people (family friends) attending all three weddings... it ***** and hurts so bad,..
Friday night, I was with my little cousins and I managed to without making it obvious, ask them what my cousin (who is getting married two weeks before me) wedding favors, bm dresses are...

Sadlyyyy,,, with my luck, the favors which I wanted to order- she has already ordered... I feel liike I am being punished.. I hate this,... normally I would say screw it and order the favors however, my wedding is LAST. and I want to be different and not look like I copied them.. I am so upset, for the past few weeks I have been going to bed crying...

I guess what I am asking you girls is, can you give me some cute and bling/different shower ideas? I was thinking of decorating the hall with cute lanterns, etc... I saw a previous 09 bride I think have it..

I hate this so bad.. im sorry the vent is so long.. thanks for those of you who read this whole thing and tia for any advice I am a mess

i am so sorry. i wish i could give you HUGE right now. that is just mean and insensitive. i don't even know what else to say
do you have a theme for your wedding? then we can give you idea? or colors? or is there something you love to do, wine tasting, beach, etc? i can be creative... give me something to work with !!!

wow, those people are seriously as$holes for doing that to you!! and the parents and FH's of the brides are just as bad for allowing it to happen. that is seriously bullshittt. it makes me mad just htinking about it and I dont even know you or them.

I dont have any ideas for you right this moment, but i will do some research.

Im sorry you have to deal with this. it is uncalled for. i feel really bad you have to deal with that. ohhh myyy godd it makes me so mad!!!

awwww hunnie dont cry im sorry your going through this, and i know it really su cks dealing with 2 relatives getting married days before you.....

do you wanna stick with the bling theme for the shower? or did you want to do something else? Ive seen girls night themes, with martini glass cp's and high heeled shoes stuff and lipsticks etc

This is absolutely terrible. What the heck is wrong with people?!?!?! Its your wedding day not like a 20th bday party I mean common have some respect for those around you. Don't let it bring you down. Your wedding will be the most wonderful because it will be your day and no one can take that from you!!!!

I'm sorry you have to deal with this. Try to remain positive and realize that people are only looking out for themselves. You'll get through this and will have an AMAZING shower regardless of when it is and an AMAZING wedding that will outshine theirs.

Okay on the creative side, how big do you want to bling and what are your colors and does your bling have to be white. I am a very bad person and I will help you show those mothers just because you are last doesn't mean you are not the best.

awww My heart goes out to you.

What is your shower theme? colors? id love to help and brainstorm for you... but I need a direction.

You can still have a fab wedding and shower. I know its hard... but try not to focus on all this crap. It's really kinda rude that 2 of them are doing this to you. Is there a specific reason why they booked their weddings so close to yours?

Its hard too... because I dont know if you should tell people things or not tell them. If you tell they know that you picked certain things first... but you run the risk of these girls taking your ideas. Did she know what your favor was before she picked and ordered it? Did she know your shower date before she picked it? Did she know your wedding date before she picked hers?

i agree with your dad.... my mom wanted to have my shower in may (a month after fsil's wedding, but its before everyone leaves for greece) but she didnt because she considered the financial stress on people, which is the right thing to do, they obviously are selfish and incosiderate. dont worry, your wedding is gonna be awesome my dear

what about a tiffany's theme?? all blue and brown, you could use tiffany boxes and cp's, ive seen tiffany bag invites
