all this stress- cant stop crying

Ok ladies, sorry I need to vent... bad.
As I mentioned before on the posts... I had two cousins who had the NERVE to cut in front of me and book their wedding before mine... One is exactly a month before my wedding, and the other, 2 weeks before it ***** but what can I do? I cant lose my cool... but I have told whoever possible that my wedding was booked FIRST!

Anyway, I put a deposit down for my shower hall for the first week in Feb and come to find out, my cousin told everyone her shower is the DAYYYYYYYYYY of mine... and of course she already told everyone and finalized it, where I, didnt tell anyone yet except my family, fh, etc.. what luck! ahh

so now I have to have the shower 2-3 weeks after which I dont want to do, but have no choice... there is about 75 percent of the same people (family friends) attending all three weddings... it ***** and hurts so bad,..
Friday night, I was with my little cousins and I managed to without making it obvious, ask them what my cousin (who is getting married two weeks before me) wedding favors, bm dresses are...

Sadlyyyy,,, with my luck, the favors which I wanted to order- she has already ordered... I feel liike I am being punished.. I hate this,... normally I would say screw it and order the favors however, my wedding is LAST. and I want to be different and not look like I copied them.. I am so upset, for the past few weeks I have been going to bed crying...

I guess what I am asking you girls is, can you give me some cute and bling/different shower ideas? I was thinking of decorating the hall with cute lanterns, etc... I saw a previous 09 bride I think have it..

I hate this so bad.. im sorry the vent is so long.. thanks for those of you who read this whole thing and tia for any advice I am a mess

I feel so sorry for you. I'm sure your wedding will be great than theirs.

If I were u I would start a nasty rumor that you got the same dress as one of them and make them cry and throw up for a bit...

i'm so sorry!!!!! that's just an awful situation. what kind of cousins are they??? i KNOW you'll find a way to make your shower and your wedding stand out.

Sorry sweetie! It stinks that since it's your family you can't really give out the same favors etc.. People stink. Feel better, I'm sure your wedding will be 10x better!

something wonderful will happen- just wait and see. do you have a theme?? maybe if you went with something a little bit different theme-wise, like japanese and you could do lanterns and cherry blossoms and all that or hollywood vintage and do lots of crystals and posh decor and all that or something a little off the beaten path- make yours really stand out! maybe being the third wedding is a blessing in disguise! yours will be the best of the 3!!!!!!

heres a few things from my shower.

my invites by tessa. they were shiney metallic sparley card stock and envelopes

i had personalized scratch offs ( fm me for info)

im so sorry that your going through this! i cant imagine how i would handle it! You just have to make the best of it. This is YOUR time dont let anyone put a damper on it!

Your situation stinks, BUT there IS a silver lining!! So your wedding is last, so that means you can see FIRST HAND all the mistakes your crazy cousins make!
Granted, you won't have a lot of time to change things if you need to, but you can do the best you can and then everyone will say things like, 'Oh Blondie24 doesn't have that weird ice sculpture shaped like Godzilla's foot the way her cousin did!'
