Re: All those who feel...
I am the opposite. All of my friends are married. Sometimes it feels very 'been there, done that' when I talk about the wedding planning stuff. My BM has been amazing, but my girl friends from work don't even ask most of the time. If I move, I doubt I will invite them to the wedding.

Re: All those who feel...
i'm in the middle and always will be as 1/2 my friends are marreid with children or already married and then some are single still- not sure FH and I have deprived ourselves of anything as we have really stuck to wedding budget so we still have those times we are out and I would not say partying ( that ended in my late 20s) but we have a good time. guess we try and strike a balance
half my friends are single and like to party their butts off half my friends are getting married and still like to party then half my friend are getting married and dont do anything lol
I'm the opposite too, either our friends are married or they're in serious relationships, it's pretty cool

Re: All those who feel...
I definitely am. I am the only one of my close friends who is engaged. Most of my really close friends don't even have boyfriends. However, I think I am very good at keeping the balance. I never feel like my friends and I have a disconnect just because I am getting married and they are still doing the single thing.

Re: All those who feel...
IIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!
I'm 23. Needless to say all of my friends are still going out clubbing every weekend and going on major shopping spree's and either graduating from college, in a masters program, or still trying to figure out what to do with their lives. And they all live in NYC and I'm in the suburbs.
Granted, if I wasn't with FH I'd still be clubbing and shopping too, but now that everything is changed I feel totally left out and like I never see them anymore because I'm poor.
But I'd still rather be with FH than out clubbing trying to find a 'man' any day of the millennium.

Re: All those who feel...
Most of my friends are married already. And the majority of the girls who will be BM's live out of state. I kind of felt like I didn't have anyone to share in the wedding planning excitement with. Two of my girlfriends are really excited about the wedding and the planning but they live in MD and MA so it's kind of hard to involve them in planning. Then the other day I went out to dinner with my friend Fredy whom I have known since I was 5. He was like, Meg I can't believe you are getting married, I am gonna be an emotional mess. He had to go through my whole wedding binder and got me really excited about things. (PS he is gay so he's all about fashion and making sure I look perfect!)
