like they are at a totally different place in their lives then their friends, say I....

Totally agree........my wedding is an after thought when I see or talk to them, even for my really good friends that are my bridesmaids. I feel like I am always reaching out to them.

Most of my friends are still single with the exception of a few who are in relationships One of my friends is engaged and plans to be married in Sept. 09 (supposedly) but hasn't even started any kind of planning. She doesn't even talk about marriage at all! So now I don't talk about the wedding with friends unless they ask me questions. And they are all spending their money like it's no object. All I keep thinking is how that money could be going towards something related to the wedding.

stuck in the middle too!!! have have been there done that and very busy with families now. and the single (some just not engaged yet) live far away so the excited lasts for a phone call. i do feel alone in all this sometimes.
