Re: all you teachers out there....
I am also getting married at the reception place, but I am inviting my class and specifying that they are invited to the ceremony from 6:30-7:00 and class picture will follow. I will take a picture with the class while all the guests are getting settled into the cocktail hour.
A.C. Moore had invitations on clearance. I bought 3 packages. They looked pretty wedding like.

Re: all you teachers out there....
I teach kindergarten! I cant wait to have my kids there! They are so much fun and so excited.
They think it is so funny that I am gonna kiss a BOY! EWWWWWW imagine that! hehe
I will send and invite home with the kids in my class and also put one in the main office so that kids from past years can come.
I think it is nice to let the kids know that you are a real person and have a life outside of school. I dont really sleep at my desk every night!

Re: all you teachers out there....
I have been teaching third grade for the past three years and all my students( past and present) have been waiting with me for my big day!! They all cannot wait, they see me in the hallway and ask for the church information. I have also been asked by their parents!! I am going to order cute kid friendly type invites and type the information in a 'Kid' manner. I am going to invite my current class and several students from the past two years. I really can't wait to have my photographer take pictures of me, my fh, and the kids. It will be so cute!! I can't wait!!

Re: all you teachers out there....
We got married at flowerfield on good friday and I cant believe how many kids showed up. FF was great, I gave them a head count of how many students would show. They had tons of seating for them and their families, FF also passed out lemonade and cookies for them at the hospitality...so they wouldnt be left out. Right after the ceremony we all went outside and took a few pics. It was so wonderful, it is one of my fav pics in my album. Must have had 40 kids there...plus parents. It was so sweet.

That is good question.... I teach high school students and they asked if I'd invite them and I said we'll see. ... They can can come to the church if they want, so long as they don't make asses of themselves, which is always a possibility!
