Allergy ??

When itroducing new foods, what did you look for as far as food allergies go?
Cassidy started on applesauce a couple of days ago, and she doesn't have any kind of rash, but she's been spitting up alot. Not sure if it's just that she's getting used to it, or if it could be an allergy...???
