so a friend just text me she bought the pills and wants me to try it with her starting sat..... scared im gonna poop too much.....

i would try it if it was only about the pooping - pooping you can control

anal leakage? not so much. . .

it is a new drug that stops your body from absorbing fat - it is over the counter, because it is basically a lighter dosage of a prescription drug that came out not too long ago ( cant think of the name)

it makes the fat pass through your body instead of being absorbed. . . hence the leakage

I have an aunt who used the original prescription, Xenical which is the same drug as Alli. She used to keep an extra change of clothes in her car 'just in case!!'
I read some of the research that was done on it and it doesn't seem worth it. Aside from the chance of crappin your pants, you don't lose that much more than you would from just eating right in the first place.

well if you trt it let us know the side effects. cuz everything had some sort of side effect it just depnds on how often they occur. i read somewhere that if you eat less then 15 grms of fat per meal then you don`t have to worry about leakage. i was kinda put off by that kind of side effect. not to mention the kits cost between 50 and 80. it would be worth it if it works and if the side effects were`nt so graoss! sooo keep me posted!!

i was under the impression that 15 grams was on the healthy side too. so it sort of seems like a waste to take the pill if you're eating healthy ammounts... you know?

the whole point of the pill is that the fat doesnt get absorbed. however we all need SOME fat in our diet.
so be careful and let us know how it goes.

If any of you do take it, make sure that you take a multivitamin at night before you go to bed... it can stop the absorption or regular vitamins that you need from your diet. And make sure if you have any health problems you check with your doctor or pharmacist before buying it!

I personally think it should've stayed a prescription only drug, and I'd only recommend it if you're completely health and regular dieting and exercise didn't work for you!
