I am so excited that Saturday is almost here!!! Today FH and I met with our Maitre 'd at the East Wind and she seems great - have any EW brides had Joyce?? We really liked her and she made FH less anxious that stuff will go wrong on Saturday.
So here's a question...who gives toasts at the RD? FH was planning to give one and said FFIL should give one, since they pay for it. Does anyone else toast?

Usually the best man and sometimes the maid of honor/Matron of honor. Sometimes the couples say something too, but to be honest w/you I've never seen a parent do a toast...whether they paid or not.

Have an amazing time, you are going to love it
I had Joyce as my Maitre 'd, she did a great job. I had an issue with her, but it worked itself out.

Whoops, sorry I wasn't clear. Not making a toast at the reception (BM and MOH will do those), but for the rehearsal dinner.
