Already a RSVP vent

so on my RSVPs i wrote
accepts....
declines....
number of guest attending

well we got 2 RSVPS back that we invited with guests that say only the person we invited is coming so i thought ok no big deal maybe they dont want to bring guests but then my FH asked one of the guys about it and he said 'oh no both of us are coming'....WTH he didnt put her name on it and put 1 person attending i really dont know whats wrong with people...did i really make my RSVP that confusing

now ill be calling all the people that RSVPed with 1 just to double check

Maybe we need to write, 'Are you bringing your girlfriend/boyfriend/wife/husband/grandmother/grandfather/aunt/uncle/cousin/daughter/son/niece/nephew/ mom/dad/anyone in addition to yourself? Plese write yes or no!!!!!!! Mary MOB

Re: Already a RSVP vent

I had the SAME EXACT PROBLEM!!!! And I didn’t even think to ask about it bc neither one of them are in a serious relationship, luckily it just came up in conversation. Do people not know how to read?!?

Re: Already a RSVP vent

Ours actually had a line that says:

Name(s)____________________

____ Will Attend

____ Will not attend

For the most part, people wrote in the names of the people attending. Some wrote in the # attending in the ____ (blank space) but most just put a check or two checks depending on the # of people.

Hopefully my #s are right because I already gave a final # to the RH!!!

LOL so annoying.

I know I'm going to have issues with this...

Like my cousin who told me BEFORE i sent out my invites 'oh i'm coming with a guest, I forgot to RSVP.' I'm like I didn't send out my invites yet moron.

I love how people think a verbal is ok??????? I didn't spend all that money on stamps and invitations and response cards for you to tell me at another family function that 'you're coming'

OMG i cant anymore
so i got 3 more rsvps today and 1 was from FSIL/ BM
she was invited with a guest and also just put her name and only 1 person attending...so i called her and asked her whats up...well shes bringing a date but 'she had no time to read the rsvp so she just put whatever '
she told me i should be happy i even got 1 from her

Re: Already a RSVP vent

Honestly, I think it's a guy thing. Guys don't think about these things.

The single guys we invited all sent back their RSVPS virtually unreadable. We couldn't decipher their writing! And three of the four single guys who came (without a date) never got us a gift.
