Who is everyone's mom's walking down the aisle with?

My mom is thinking of asking her brother....
Does he have to be in a tux?
Or is a suit ok?

It was originally going to be my grandmother (her mother) but she passed in march so she walked with my other grandmother.

My cousin is walking her down and he is getting the tux bc he will be an usher. So he'll be in all the pictures

My godfather/uncle walked my mom down. He wore a suite and he looked fine. We also got him a boutineer (sp?) .

My dad escorted my mom down the aisle and after she sat, he came back around to walk me down. I didn't want them walking down separately... it was really important to me that they walk together.
Nobody even noticed him coming back around on the side b/c by then, DH's parents were walking down, and then the BMs started...

this is what i did too

same here! that's how it goes for a jewish wedding. grandparents walk down the aisle too, and one grandmother is a widow

my uncle is going to walk her down the aisle.

Edit: it ended up working out perfectly bc my uncle lives out of the country and doesn't own a suit anymore so he decided to rent a tux. We told him to ask for the same one as the grandfathers, and it worked out perfectly. I'm anal and wouldnt have wanted him to walk down the aisle in a suit if everyone else was wearing tuxes, but i wouldnt have wanted him to pay for a tux if he hadn't been planning on it. luckily everything worked out perfectly.
