There is a cap of $225 on mine (at Paradise Bridal) but a bustle and adding straps is extra.

Its flat rate of 575 at Kleinfelds (for alterations and pressing) and 350 at RK Bridal

I have a cap on my alterations at Helen's Bridal of Commack, the cap is $99.00 plus the bustle. I am also getting a free veil with my dress. They said I won't need many alterations my dress is a hollow to hem.

I bought my dress at a bridal store; Amelia's bridal in Mount Vernon- They include alterations in the price for all of the dresses they sell even BM.

Oh goodness, I need to start reading completely before I post...

That price for kleinfelds scares me b/c I am going there tomorrow... I don't want to pay almost $600 for alterations! that's nuts!

I got my dress at Bridal Reflections, the alterations cap at 395 and the bustle is extra.

OMG! This is great to know. Do you know if it is all dresses or just your designer? I am going to Maggie Sottero trunk show next weekend and if I happen to find 'the one' I want to order it.

Do you know if this is also the case for BM? if so, then I may use them exclusively.
