Can anyone recommend a good, inexpensive seamstress? I purchased my dress down south and every bridal shop around here charges extra since I didn't buy it at their store. I'm near New Hyde Pk but anywhere in nassau, queens or manhatten would be fine. Thanks so much!

I have the same problem!! I have been looking too! I got this one lady highly reccomended from my calligrapher, i think i am going to use her...

Phyllis at Bridal Elegance - a vendor on LIW - she did a phenomenal job on my wedding dress that I bought at David's Bridal.
I wrote a review of her under vendors as well as my wedding review.

I agree. She's located in East Northport. I highly recommend her. I also included her in my wedding review.
