am i alone!? it suddenly hit me and needed to vent!
ok i am starting to feel very overwhelmed and go crazy right now! it suddenly hit me when i realized i have not done anything yet for my wedding, my DIY things that i will be doing (witch aren't much anyway)! all i am really doing myself is my unity candle with the monogram, i am going to attempt and try doing the votive candles as the seating place cards, my menus and programs, the LOVE letters sign for the cake table plus maybe a Mr & Mrs for the our table, and other little things i cant think of right now.. but now i am starting to freak out because there is like 10 months left for my wedding day (not a year anymore.. WOW!) and i have not started ANYTHING YET! yeahh NOTHING! =/ now i dont know if i am just getting all paranoid about this for nothing cause i still have time or if i should really get started!! ahh, is anyone feeling the same way i am or in the same boat.... prolly not!!!!!! =[
just wanted to vent and see how many brides out there have not done much yet for their day either!!
i am basically waiting for the holidays to be over to really start concentrating on my wedding planning.. dont get me wrong, we have every venue booked already except for florist.. and i already have my dress picked, will just be going next week to actually order it.. and after the holidays will get the BM, MOH and FG together to go order their dresses!!!!!!!!!!
but thats about it.. still have to look for moms dress, invitations, favors, my shoes, hair and makeup venue, bridal party gifts, parents gifts.. and all the other little things i have not yet started to look for or have a clue of yet... lol!!
just needed to vent and wonder how far you girls have gone in your wedding planning.. especially those NOVEMBER brides!!!!!! =/

Honey don't worry, I'm just under 6 months and realized the other day we have SOOOOOOOOOOO much left to do, no time in which to do and AND my mom hasn't even started looking for something to wear yet, that's REALLY freaking me out!!!!!!!!! You'll get it all done, just take your time, do a little here and a little there and you'll be amazed at how much you get done!!!!!! It's okay to vent, I'm sure we've all felt this way at one time or another, I feel that way right now!! :)

i had a melt down last night...you have plenty of time sweetie breath...you have almost a year that is plenty of time....we just started planning this august...and most things are done....now that we are 38 days out i started to panic last night about everything being organized and ready for our day....FH asked me if I was ok what was I worried about...and what came out of my mouth was not english....i started bawling...he was like ok it is fine you dont have to tell me lol... p.s. still waiting on my dress....so no need to freak you have a ton of time and if i were u would do just like you said after the holidays

that's all I have lol. I bought the I do letters but no paint or anything. I haven't done any of those small things yet. Most you can't do until later anyway! and i'm a month before you don't worry lol

yeah but i am sure all of you girls already have your entire guest list put together and all the addresses you need for it?? sadly i dont have my guest list finished nor do we have everyones address yet!!!!!!!! this is what i am freaking about most, is still having to finish this guest list and put it togetherrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!
oh well, i guess everything will fall into place soonnnn.. thanks girls, just needed to vent!!
plus it doesnt help when the FH doesnt really help in much of the plannign and its us girls doing almost everything.. all hes done so far is go to the appointments weve had to book the venus and look at them, and give me his list of guests and give me some opinions on some things i am planning on doing and getting for our wedding.. lol and i am sure i am not alone in this, cause ive heard most FH not help their brides!!!!!!!!!! ahhh lol!!!!!!

Don't worry you have plenty of time. My best friend planned an amazing wedding in less then 6 months!!! Sometimes it does make you crazy when you see what everyone else has done already. I used to feel that way on here till the girls helped calm me down!!!! Everything will fall into place!!! So relax and enjoy!!

Don't stress! We just have the major stuff booked, all the details and smaller projects (invitations, programs,favors, honeymoon,etc) we're not gonna worry about until spring time. We live in a 1 bedroom apartment in Queens! We don't have the space to keep all the stuff.

...aww im so sorry u feel so overwhelmed everyone goes through this at one time or another..make a list of what u need to do and take it one step at a time..u will get it all done and always feel free to vent we all do sometimes..hth and goos luck

You have plenty of time! i know sometimes being on here can get overwhelming with the amount of stuff some girls get done but done worry, wait until after the holidays so you dont get stressed and start fresh in the new year. you have lots of time, just pace yourself and set a deadline.
I am doing lots of DIYs and set a date i HAVE to get everything done (a few weeks b4 my weddings) and if its not done by then im not doing it.
I dont have anything done other than a few vendors and im 2 months before you. dont worry!

ahh thanks so much girls! i honestly feel so much better now that i see all you girls are telling me not to worry and that i have enough time to get everything i want done! sometimes venting out on this thing and getting feedback from you girls helps a lot and brings down a lot of my headaches and stress down, hehe! =] i feel better and am more calmer to see i am not the only one taking my time planning this wedding.. again, thanks for hearing me out and letting me vent and responding back to my post so quickly. you girls are the best and i honestly would have no clue on what to do and how to do it if it wasnt for you girls and this site. i now cannot live without LI WEDDINGS.COM!! hehe!! =]

You are not alone at all! We've booked the major vendors and I've ordered my dress, but that's it! We keep saying we should do STDs, but we don't even have a guest list yet let alone addresses for the people we know we're definitely inviting!!
I just have to trust that it will all get done. As far as DIY projects - I'm not doing ANY and I feel inadequate for it, but oh well.

U have plenty of time to do all of that/ Dont worry. U should make a schedule out with certain things to have done by each month & stick to it. Wait until u r 2 months from ur wedding. then you will feel the pressure to get things done. Believe me. So dont go worrying right now.

yeah i have actually started a list just this weekend. i wrote down in paper everything i have left to do and work on as well as the DIY projects i have to do! what i think i am gonna do is im going to wait till the holidays are over and than i will be more relaxed and able to sit down and really start working on all the major wedding stuff, especially the DIY stuff, the very few DIY items that i will be doing! =] i wish i could be more creative and talented like most of you girls on here who are doing a lot of DIY, but unfortunetly im not good with that so i am only doing a few simple things that arent too difficult! =]

Don't worry...you Def. have PLENTY of time. I mean, I had the same attack about 2 weeks ago...b/c I was like my wedding is in less then 5 months and I have sooo much to do!! Sure enough, I slowly got into the groove of wedding stuff and moving right along. it's hard not to panic b/c the list seems never ending, but just take one thing at a time. Before you know it you will have more already done than what you have left to do. After the holidays you'll finally be able to focus on just wedding... juest breathe...it'll all work out.
