Am I crazy?

Hi..well ladies..I don't write alot but lately I fee like I am losing my mind. We have a bunch of things booked already but unfortunately we have had issues with family etc and I am having knots in my stomach about this wedding. PLus the amount of money alone makes me want to reconsider..I have sent for eloping spot information...again...my FH is honestly the best...he keeps putting up wiht me...
Am i crazy..do others go through this? What is the deal with contracts and all that..ugh!!

You are not crazy... For the first part of my engagement, I had strongly considered eloping... I do not handle stress too well and that's all this wedding planning seemed to be for me, BUT I thought about whether I was going to regret eloping in the future and the bottom line was that I would, so I had to start my planning. I have booked, my hall, my church, my bands, my photographer and videographer and ordered my gown... I am now on a hiatus from planning.. I am not getting married until next October (which I noticed you are too)... If you do too much all at one time you will feel overwhelmed, I learned to space things out... My FH has been good too, putting up with me. That is very important! It's good that you have that! If you feel like you want to chill out on things, then do just that, so that you can feel better about the planning... If money is an issue for you, you do not have to go overboard with ANYTHING... as most of the girls on this board will tell you, Martha Stewart has fantastic ideas that you can make yourself and it won't cost you a fortune! Keep your head up! Things will be fine! This is supposed to be a happy time! What else do you need to plan, maybe I can help!

Ok, just try to relax. When I first got engaged I was soooo uncomfortable with family issues, signing contracts leaving deposits etc. Believe it or not I don't know if it is time that helps or you just get numb from it all but it really does get better. You have to just get used to making decisions, paying money and getting along with a whole new set of relationships etc. It has been getting better for me now but I actually was sick over it and upset all the time. The wedding is 5 weeks away and I am just now feeling better about things. I think it is just normal and you have to just let time fix it.

thank you..very sweet....i have some awesome friends and FH and they keep telling me this too. I defintly don't handle stress well at all which i am learning through this process
I guess I just feel things have gotten out of hand and the whole point of this wedding is getting lost a little bit. I should juts take some time like you said....thanks again for your input! Best of Luck..
